Big swimming pool, garden, kids playground, football Pitch, large suite, Air condition, relaxing place, welcoming staff including the owner,
9,2 /10
It would be best for the hotel to include a shuttle service into Marrakech as it is a bit out of town and getting a taxi into town can be costly
8,8 /10
A very tranquil location outside of the city. Garden area is beautiful and eating your meals in the garden is great rather than a restaurant. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were always helpful and we used Abdul the taxi driver most days. He was something else. He recommended restaurants was always punctual even waited whilst my children did karting! He is an asset to the hotel!

Very nice staff, service, food , room , pool. Hotel is not huge so it's very calm.

Peace and quiet after a day in Marrakech, extremely helpful staff esp. Hakima who made phone calls for us and recommendations when we went into the city.

Beautiful outdoor area with a big pool to relax and recharge. The Suite was spaciouse and clean with an equipped kitchen. The bathrooms (2 in the Senior Suite) were clean and bright with good water pressure & temperature. The ordered food (you can eat next to the pool!) was really tastey and the portion size was big! The staff was really helpful and very understanding. Nothing to complain about! We will come back!!

Everything about this property was perfect for us. Sophie was a brilliant host and was always happy to help. Very quite and peaceful retreat, ideal for families. Spacious apartments with great facilities. Highly recommend.

Nice apartment. Big nice green garden. Very good service. Typical Moroccan breakfast. Excellent location just outside the hectic and vibrant city of Marrakech

We literally loved the whole stay, everything was just excellent, also it's not overcrowded with people it's so nice and relaxing. Very good if you don't really like busy busy places. It was absolutely an amazing trip to this resort. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this resort and I shall be coming back soon! Thank you everybody for all your help.

Very Nice, friendly and helpfull staff and Owners

The owners are incredibly accommodating and kind people. They were always willing to answer questions and ensure that we were having a nice stay. On our last day, no one was checking in to our apartment and they graciously allowed us to stay in the apartment until the evening.
Please note that the facilities are nicer in person than in the photos and the grounds are incredibly kid-friendly. Highly recommended for a relaxing family stay, but much easier done with own transport to buy groceries and visit surrounding areas.

We stayed in this lovely property for 2 weeks in August and we couldn’t be more pleased with our choice. The staff and the owners did their very best to make us feel so welcomed and making sure we felt like being in our second home. We could always rely on a good and useful advice, big smiles any time of the day and any requests were promptly attended to. The property is located a few kilometres away from a busy Médina which was nice and works to your advantage, especially when visiting in the summer or during bank holidays or religious events in Morocco. There is well organised taxi transport at a cost of around £25 for a return trip so you are easily linked with the centre. Apartments provide all the basics you need and the food accompanied by tasty Moroccan wine offered by the restaurant, which you can have it served nearly anywhere you wish within the property is fantastic! Having traveled the world and staying in various hotels, often very luxurious I really appreciate hospitality of les jardins de zyriab, organising a beautiful surprise for our wedding anniversary and making sure our stay in Morocco was unforgettable and wanting us to go back. Big thank you to Sofiya, very generous Idris and lovely Fatma!
We (4) stayed here for one week. Very nice place, beautiful garden and friendly people. Only negative is that you need to take a car to Marrakech. However this is well organized by the reception. They will drop you of and pick you up as desired. It will cost you about $20 per day per car but a place like this would cost much more directly in Marrakech. You are really not losing any money on transportation. You can have a breakfast or dinner at this hotel but since the apartment comes with an equipped kitchen we made our breakfast most of the time. and had it poolside. Importantly, hotel sells water, wine and beer. Kitchen does not have a dishwasher or a drying rack for dishes which is a disadvantage. Staff cleans the apartment daily but not the dishes. In general, if you do not mind the drive, this place is a winner.
We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The staff were superb and seemed committed to our satisfaction and always willing to help. The apartment was large and clean, with a kitchenette and satellite TV. The property is about a 15-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, and a quiet and welcome relief after a day exploring all the wonders of Marrakech.
Very comfortable and lovely self catering units which are serviced daily. Beautiful gardens with lots of orange trees. In season you can have a feast with oranges. Serviced daily, but strangely, they do do not do the dishes for you. There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Moroccan food. Very friendly staff. The downside, it is out of the way. About thirty minutes drive to the city centre, with no public transport and no shops nearby to buy basic amenities. The shuttle service charges 30 euros per trip.
What a great place to stay . Fantastic rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Food is great too.
Would definitely go back. Convenient to downtown Marrakesh.
Love dining outdoor by the pool
Having a kitchen in our room was
Perfect.
Safe and secure
An oasis of cool tranquility and roses just 15 minutes drive from the hustle of Marrakech. A perfectly styled boutique hotel with large pool and gardens.
We stayed here with our 3 girls who loved the freedom and facilities.
Breakfast by the pool too
I cannot praise this hotel enough - we had a brilliant long weekend.
We were 5 girls, having our first girls holiday and chose Les Jardins de Zyriab because we wanted to somewhere safe and secure.
The hotel's communication before arrival was excellent, they advised on everything from transfers to currency. Our flight was late but the hotel organised a taxi from us, and the driver, Abdul, waited for us the whole time. We arrived late into the night, but they still made dinner and served it in our villa. Perfect start to the trip.
Really comfortable villas with kitchenette, living room area, comfy bedrooms, good bathrooms, everything is clean.
Beautiful (albeit cold!) swimming pool - we spent our Saturday having breakfast poolside and sunbathing.
Food is good, perhaps a little limited, but we enjoyed it during our 3 night stay. There is no restaurant as such, tables are made up in the reception area. But it didn't bother us as the dining table in the villa meant we could eat in our PJs at night time!
We organised a trip through the hotel to into the city centre - we were given the most lovely guide called Mohammed, who was full of information, advice, stories and jokes. We felt so safe in his company and he went the extra mile - buying me a Moroccan blanket when I was out of money, and trusting me to repay him when I got back to the hotel, and helping us haggle for tagine pots. Once again, Abdul drove us around, and waited for us while we went sightseeing.
We LOVED IT.
The place is amazing, incredibly beautiful and quiet. Perfect for couples and families. Great ambiance, service, and food! It is a great getaway, with a wonderful pool and views, and also close to Marrakech so you can stay there while visiting the city :)
Best kept secret in Morocco, nice place to relax and enjoy the swimming pool and quietness
However the highlight of this place it's the amazing staff and owners, never seen a service as such, from the moment we arrived, they made us feel very special, can't see myself skipping this resort while in Marrakech, this should be an example to all hotels and resorts that aspire to provide the best possible stay to their guests
Warmly welcomed by the owners Sofia and Driss, the moment we stepped inside the doors. It was clearly important to everyone there that we felt 'at home'. Excellent Senior Suite on the ground floor with its own outside area and great views of the gardens and the pool. Everything is arranged to allow maximum benefit no matter which Suite you are in. Everything was as promised on the website and any additional requests were promptly fulfilled. Averaged 38C to 40C during our fortnight and the Suite was cool, with the addition of air conditioning if required. Everything was very clean and well looked after, from equipment to towels and bed linen. Suite was plenty big enough for four people and those in the 'second' room had the same facilities including private bathroom, as those in the master bedroom.
Located about 20 minute taxi/car ride from the centre of Marrakech, the location was perfect and we looked forward to returning each time we left the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and its wonderfully colourful, buzzing Medina. Tranquil surroundings, both garden and pool, with a great view of the Atlas Mountains. The gardens are exceptionally well looked after and walking amongst the rosemary hedges was wonderful.
Whilst no formal restaurant on site, the kitchen has a good menu and we enjoyed meals in both our Suite and by the pool. Excellent food and attention to detail made for a good dining experience, usually in the quite of the warm evening but also as recommended elsewhere, by the pool for a Moroccan breakfast. We did a lot of self catering and there is a good Carrefour within about 10 minutes drive, conveniently situated on the main road out of the town back to hotel.
Everyone we encountered made us feel valued and were only too willing to do all they could for us, from groundsmen to cleaners Special mention must be made of Hakima, Imame and Ismail who did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and who were always willing to listen to our daily adventures, as well as helping when we needed advice about places, or bookings for things. There is no doubt they added to our overall experience.
Although wifi was only available in the reception and seating area, this was never a problem and we found that our early morning cup of tea could be enjoyed in comfy chairs while we surfed the net when necessary.
Hotel website is only in French which with our lack of other languages, made it a little more difficult to check everything out before we booked, but a good translator program dealt with that along with the reviews and photos from other travellers on TripAdvisor and another well known website. We also found the hotel staff were very good at answering emails and dealing with any early enquiries we had.
Thank you to each and everyone who made our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be back.
I have just got back from a 4 night break at this hotel with my sisters, it was perfect for us-a very relaxing stress free holiday and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful ! We had our meals around the pool area every morning and evening and spent days out on trips arranged by the hotel -we all enjoyed every moment and we were sad to leave ! We will be booking again !!
We chose this hotel for being just outside Marrakech to escape to a lovely pool and spa. We were very well received by the owner. Our apartment was wonderful and so close to the stunning pool area.
We had arranged by email daily outings to Marrakech and The 3 Valleys and camel rides. The staff were very helpful. We had a very good driver and guide - also arranged through the reception.
We had delicious food which was served by the pool area. The table was beautifully prepared with rose petals on it. All the staff were so helpful. The garden is stunning. There was a marvellous smell of roses and rosemary as you walk to the main reception.
Wifi is only in the reception area - but it really isn't a problem. We enjoyed sitting just outside with the view to the pool or inside in air conditioned reception.
We had a wonderful massage and Hamman at the spa.
We wanted to experience Marrakech but retreat to a lovely hotel (20 minute drive away) ... we had exactly what we wanted. Lovely owners, welcoming and an excellent standard of hotel. Perfect.
For our three generation family (12 to 80 years' old), Zyriab was heavenly. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating; the food was great with wide variety (salads, tagines etc) and we found eating by the pool quite magical. Eating in the lobby was a bit odd but fine for us, especially on cooler evenings; however the hotel offers flexibility and are happy to serve you in your room as well which we can also recommend. The lack of a specific restaurant is off-set by generous, apartment-style bedrooms with fully equipped kitchens if self catering is your thing. The owners are very personable and want your experience to be home from home, but this isn't like home because its much nicer! The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing and the beautifully designed gardens are delightful with roses,rosemary-scented hedges, orange, lemon and olive trees, trickling water and a tame resident peacock. There is a stunning pool, a 5-a-side football pitch and a boule court as well as climbing frames for toddlers. A welcome respite from the mayhem of the souk and the dusty Atlas Mountains, a private taxi to Marrakech costs around £30 return and takes 25 minutes - taxi service was very reliable. The rooms are artisan in design (a little rustic) but beds are really comfortable with luxurious linen and there's plenty of hot water. Speaking of water, the spa is a must and you have to try the Hammam treatment - provided you don't mind a bit of physical contact! Grandparents said there massage was the best they've ever had. No wifi in the rooms or by the pool but we loved this as as a break from technology certainly helped us feel revitalised by the end of the week. We are already thinking of rebooking - there is something magical about this place and Morocco - perfect for us.
Positives
1. Good sized clean apartments
2. Nice swimming pool
3. Helpful staff
4. Nice gardens
Negatives
1. 20 min from marrakech and no public transport. Each round trip is charged 450 dirham by hotel and taxi will also be 300 minimum
2. No internet in room
3. No restaurant but they have room service for food
4. Hardly any people there even on Easter weekend which is peak season so lack of atmosphere
Okay - this property is out of town, but you would not find a small, personal 21 room resort with such a huge pool, such glorious gardens and such tranquillity in town. For us, it worked out well. To walk through the entry and see the snow-topped High Atlas Mountains as a backdrop to the lush gardens is amazing. Fruit trees and trimmed rosemary hedges feature, along with a one-legged peacock that flies in each day to partake of an al fresco breakfast with you. We were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms simply because during our week, the place was not full. Staff are attentive and engaging. While the breakfast is quite stunning, dinners were a disappointment for us. Being out of town, we had booked private guided tours, so the distance from the Medina didn't really matter. Think about what type of accommodation and holiday you are after before booking, but, equally, if you have not looked beyond the city itself, have a good look at this property - it may be exactly what you need.
We loved it, amazing people, the breakfast excellent, the garden really nice, all the lemon trees. it was super relaxing, luxurious, fantastic staff, and far better that any of the pictures could do it justice
I cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was at this hotel. It was a week we will never forgot, absolutely fabulous!
it was super relaxing, luxurious, fantastic staff, and far better that any of the pictures could do it justice.
The rooms were gorgeous with a beautiful view of the hotel (which is earthy and amazing) and we got to order the most delicious multi-course Moroccan breakfasts.
Our driver from the airport was awesome and easy to get a hold of and organize trips to the city and the desk staff were incredible. They recommended, booked and organized a booking for my husband's birthday to an excellent restaurant, gave us great advice of where to go and what to see, helped us spend time understanding and setting up our SIM cards as much of it was in Arabic which we don't speak, and even spent a long time on the phone to the bank when an ATM machine 'ate' some of our money. The allowed to us practice our French with them, which was a lot of fun. Morrocan mint tea is the most delicious drink I've ever had, I just don't want to know how much sugar is in there :)
I also loved (surprisingly) how there was no wifi in the rooms, but only the lobby. This really allowed us to disconnect but still made it so that we could go into the lobby to catch up with people at home. We felt very comfortable spending time in the lobby whenever we needed to.
I wasn't sure what to expect visiting Morocco during Ramadan, but I recommend that everyone do this! Everyone was so calm and kind and respectful, and most of all, it was very quiet at the hotel and SUPER relaxing. At one point, there were only 4 of us near the pool all day. The beds were amazing, the rooms were nice and cool, and the rooms were very spacious with a huge shower too!
There were some friendly hotel dogs, a funny peacock and all kinds of cool sounding birds we could hear. There was an excellent grocery store nearby so it was easy for us to make our own food during the day so we didn't have to ask the staff to cook our food in the middle of the day during Ramadan.
The only downside was that it was about 20 mins driving from town. But it is an easy trip to do and organize, and if you have a rental car this is even easier. However I find it hard to complain about the distance from town as the hotel experience was 'out of this world' amazing. Order the breakfast, everyday!
For a relaxing getaway, everyone should go to Les Jardins de Zyriab. Absolutely wonderful.
On the outskirts of Marrakech, this resort is bounded by lemon trees and formal plantings. We were warmly received by the owner, who quickly ordered chicken and vegetarian tagines that were delicious. We stayed for a week and were impressed by the care and consideration given to all aspects of our stay. They arranged for a wonderful driver, and we toured the both the city, mountains and valleys from this convenient location.
